Dear Dorothy Scott, I attened the show at the door auditorium last weekend in Door County Wi. Your music is stunningly beautiful. Corky Siegel's music is delightful!
I had recently lost my daughter due to illness and want to thank you for providing me with an evening of joy, sadness, laughter, inspiration and reflection. Thank you again. Joan

What a wonderful show on Saturday night at the Door Community Auditorium. I came from Milwaukee with my wife for the weekend to Door County for a getaway. We had heard of Corky Siegel before and thought an evening of music would be a great addition to our weekend. We have been to many shows at the Auditorium in the summer months and I must say that the show you and Corky put on was one of the very best shows we have seen there. Actually it's one of the best shows we have seen in the last 5 years after touring the U.S.A and Japan. We are great music lovers and we feel honored to have encountered such wonderful talent. Thank you miss Scott! You truly play and sing with charm and intensity. Where will you and Corky be next?

Dear Dorothy,

Wow! You infect the world with your love and peace--I am awed by the wonderful postings and how clear it is that you truly reach people in loving, creative, soulful way. Your mom is so proud. I am Aunt Mary's grand niece and granddaughter of Steve and Bett Conland--how I miss their physical presence--it is a great loss. Aunt Mary kept us together. Much love and hugs and wishes for continued inspiration, peace and love and happiness in your life!!
With love, Heidi

Dorothy -- WOW, are you ever in the Boston area? It would be great to see you perform in person and talk about old times. (our sleepovers, my Mom's meatballs, etc.) I have always wondered what you were up to when I thought about you over the years. Nicely Done!

Hey Dorothy,

I'm glad to see you're finally making it back to Stevens Point on Jan. 20. I listen to both your CDs pretty regularly.

I'm looking forward to hearing a full evening of your music. BTW, I'm the guy who played right before you at the Clark Place 3rd Anniversery Party. You complimented me on my version of "Tangled Up in Blue..." See you soon!

Hi Dorothy! Don't think you would remember me coz we met 10 years ago! You played at Katalin in Uppsala ,Sweden and we started talking coz you knew of a friend of mine-Fredrik. I just wanted to say that I still listen to you cd "into the river" and it affects me the same way as when I first heard you at Katalin. I'm glad you are still playing and I would very much like to hear you (for me) new material. I played a little "beginners drums" with you in the rehearsalstudio at one time. I'm glad you are still playing. /Ingela

Looking forward to meeting you at the Wildrice Concert on Oct 22. I am the webmaster for Wildriceconcerts.org Been listening to Restless Machinery....I Like It! See you next montgh.

September 27, 2005

I found your music while downloading blues riffs of Odetta...you just happened to have a song titled "waterboy" and I sampled it. Then I sampled "restless machines", then I bought the whole damn album.
Truly unique.
Absolutely transcendent.
You'd better be careful, you might just marginalize all of the garbage the mass market is producing nowadays.
Good luck to you, and I'll do my best to spread the word.

September 8, 2005

How's it goin' there Dorothy. This new site is great - very easy to find one's way around.

The best news though is that you are recording a new album. You make all of us wait far too long for new albums. Sure, I reared one family and started another in the time it took you to make two CDs. I was beginning to think you had no work ethic at all!

I hope the recording Gods are kind and the Muse is on her toes.

Love as always,

Colm.
